In the video, the priest can be seen in traditional attire, standing in water, chanting mantras, and offering incense to God. Water is rippling on the temple's threshold, but the priest's concentration remains unwavering.
After the video surfaced, thousands of people shared it. Someone wrote, "This is not worship, but penance." Someone said emotionally, "When even nature cannot stop devotion, then understand what kind of dedication it is to God." People described this devotion of the priest as the true form of Indian culture, where religion is not just an ostentation but the essence of life.
Although the administration has advised people to be cautious and stay away from temples and rivers in view of heavy rains, this priest believes that "the service of God cannot stop." He says, "As long as I am breathing, worship is my responsibility."
This scene made it clear that the flame of devotion does not extinguish even in calamities. This is not just the faith of a priest but a picture of those values that keep us connected to our roots. When society is struggling with disasters, such devotion acts like a lighthouse.
